Our Story
Established in San Juan, Puerto Rico in January 2005, Moriah Engineering Solutions (MES) is a minority-owned engineering firm specializing in automation and process engineering services for the life sciences industry. Our mission is to help companies boost operational efficiency and stay compliant with industry regulations by providing the tools, support, and automation systems they need to thrive.
Founded by Electrical Engineer Waldemar Tavarez, a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, MES started with a single employee and a bold vision. Our first official team member, Carlos Madera, helped lay the foundation for what has now grown into a team of 24 professionals, supported by a network of 10 independent contractors.
At our core, we are a service-based business. That means we don’t deliver a physical product—instead, we offer expert knowledge, guidance, and solutions that create measurable value for our clients across multiple areas of their operations.
